Screen Service presents: Lab (Limits and Demonstrations) by Olivia Normile

Screen Service, a service-oriented organisation supporting artists in and from Ireland, is delighted to screen new work by acclaimed artist Olivia Normile for Culture Night.

Lab (Limits and Demonstrations) is a digitised Super 8 film, presented as a looped online exhibition. The work explores disruption in relation to speech and movement through slow-making and repetition, laying bare material elements, labour, and overlooked narratives.

The film screens online at screenservice.ie from Friday to Sunday, making the work accessible to a wide audience.

Olivia Normile is a visual artist working across installation and experimental moving image. She currently holds a studio at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios (2026–2028) and will present a solo exhibition there in December 2027, curated by Michael Hill.
