This Culture Night, DCU Library and DCU Oifig na Gaeilge, with support from teams across the University, welcome families, local residents, students, and visitors of all ages to DCU St Patrick’s Campus for an evening of creativity, music, culture, and discovery.

This year’s programme offers a relaxed, family-friendly celebration featuring something for all ages. Highlights include live performances by Setanta String Orchestra and the DCU Trad Society, a Triscó in partnership with Na Fianna, interactive craft sessions in English and as Gaeilge, a zine-making workshop with Hana Flamm, and a sean-nós dance workshop with Caoimhe Ní Mhaolagáin.

Visitors can also join historical and architectural campus tours with Dr Ruth McManus, explore Cregan Library and its panoramic balcony views, discover special collections linked to the Drumcondra 150 celebrations, take on the Tour de Library Cycling Challenge, enjoy a silent disco, complete a library scavenger hunt, get into the festival spirit with Culture Night face decorations from DCU Oifig na Gaeilge, or enter the Make a Snake competition – submit an entry to the Make a Snake Competition by 9th September and see your entry decorating the campus on Culture Night.
