Taking place on Friday, 18 September, a vibrant programme of Irish-language and Irish cultural events will unfold in communities across the country, offering audiences an opportunity to engage with the language in relaxed, welcoming and entertaining settings.

There is no need to be a fluent speaker. Instead, audiences can hear Irish come alive through song and storytelling, enjoy traditional and contemporary music, discover Irish-language literature and theatre, or simply soak up the atmosphere alongside friends and family.

This year’s programme includes everything from intimate evenings of poetry and music to an ambitious celebration across Ireland’s Gaeltacht coastline.
