You Are the Signal is an interactive audiovisual installation where audience movement becomes part of the artwork.

Visitors are invited to step into the installation which uses a motion-tracking system to detect movement and use it to generate and transform projected visuals and sound in real time. Walking, gesturing or dancing can change what the audience sees and hears, creating an evolving audiovisual environment that is different every time someone interacts with it. The installation is an open, drop-in experience, with no need  forany experience of dance, music or technology – simply come in, explore and see how  movements affects the space around you.

Developed by Leitrim-based musician, audio engineer and creative technologist Mat Warren, the project combines sound, generative technology and interactive visual systems to explore the relationship between people, movement and their environment. Come and experiment with the system, watch others interact with it, or simply step inside and see what you can create.
