Description:

Wickham Street Studios invites the public into one of Limerick city’s artist-led studio spaces for its Culture Night ‘Open Studio’ event 2026. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the working studios of sixteen contemporary artists and experience a wide range of artworks across painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, photography, printmaking, installation, and interdisciplinary practice.
The event offers a chance to encounter contemporary art within the context of its making, allowing audiences to meet artists, learn about their creative practices, and engage directly with the work in an informal and welcoming setting. Both completed artworks and works in progress will be on view throughout the evening.
This event will provide insight into an innovative, creative environment and highlight the role of Wickham Street Studios as an active creative space within Limerick city. Artwork will also be available for purchase, supporting local artists and contemporary arts practice.
