Sexual Violence Centre – CESCA

Cork Equal and Sustainable Communities Alliance

Join Cork’s Social Justice Alliance CESCA and friends in the historical surroundings of the Sexual Violence Centre Cork for an evening of music, art and film.

Through our participation in Culture Night and as part of the ‘We Act’ campaign, we aim to bring you the stories of the communities we work with and share with you what we do as a collective of community organisations working to make Cork a more equal and inclusive city for all.

We will be joined on the night by young performers from the YMCA in Cork and Penny Dinners High Hopes Choir. We will also be showing the short film ‘The Hazel Tree’ by the Traveller Visibility Group while Frameworks Films will be showcasing a number of short films on the night about the diverse communities that make Cork City what it is.

You will also have the opportunity to explore the Sexual Violence Centre building on the night and to view a number of artworks from communities we work with and support.
