Artspace Studios invites you to an Open Studios and Members’ Exhibition at our Liosbán premises for Culture Night 2023. We aim to rejuvenate our presence here in Galway City in the lead-up to our 40th Anniversary in 2026. We invite all of our supporters and members from over the years, as well as those who may want to be involved in the future of Artspace, to gather and consolidate the creative community that has been built. We will share stories of the past, contemplate the potential of Artspace, and celebrate our members’ ambitious work. Ease into your culture-filled evening by taking in the art and energy while engaging with our guest performers and speakers, who will be announced in due course. Our pop-up making station will provide a simple activity to make your own Culture Night memento - no prior experience required. The Artspace Archive will be a work-in-progress where you can reflect on the organisation’s journey and share notes, images, or stories of your own experiences here. We will move collectively into the night to attend fellow organisations events; please feel free to join us! Please note: Our Liosbán Studios are not wheelchair accessible and the entryway is by stairs, so may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We apologise for any inconvenience.
