Step inside Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. An immersive experience created by XTREME with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, bringing live performance within arm’s reach.

What if you could stand in the middle of an orchestra mid-performance? The XTREME Living Lab at the University of Limerick has worked with the Irish Chamber Orchestra to transform Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons into a mixed reality experience  capturing not just the music, but the atmosphere and presence of live performance.

The work began with a question: how do we reach people who can’t get to a concert hall, whether because of illness, mobility, distance or caring responsibilities? Come and try it for yourself, and tell us what you think .

The experience is available in a VR headset.
