Friday Night – Loughrea’s Multicultural Supper
8pm – St Patrick’s Brass Band and projected imagery on Town Hall, Barrack Street
8.30pm – Multicultural Supper at Charlies Bar, Main Street, Loughrea. Join us in the marque and beer garden as a group of Loughrea foodies will gather with tastes and plates to share with Loughrea locals. All welcome free of charge to come taste the delights.
Loughrea Chamber Information Sessions. The committee will be answering questions on benefits of joining the Chamber, being part of Loughrea Promotions, featuring on Discover Loughrea – drop by to say Hello.
Saturday Night – Loughrea’s Culture Trail
Starting in the Library and then onto Harney’s
8pm – Starting in the Library: John Paul Murphy of O’Murchú Productions will be staging the premiere performance of his new one-act comedy “When Stephanie swiped wrong”. John Paul, a local writer, won the award for best new writer at the Galway Fringe Festival in 2018. Also on the night Dympna Darcy representing the Seamus O’ Kelly Players, will be preforming her original monologues.
9pm – BAFFLE are hosting a night of poetry and entertainment at Harney’s Bar, Barrack Street, Loughrea. Theme: Your Favourite Poems of all Time. Everyone is welcome.
