Offline

Join us at the Trinity Geological Museum (via front entrance on Macken Street) to learn ‘the Story of the Earth’! This exciting exhibition highlights the geological evolution of the planet, with displays of rocks, minerals, and fossils. Discover some of the museum’s hidden treasures retrieved from storage for this special occasion – including bones of marine reptiles, fossil fish, sea scorpion, and beautiful minerals. The magnificent hallway alone displays the skeleton of the giant Irish Deer, and pillars made up of various Irish and foreign decorative stones. You won’t regret seeing the Attenborosaurus, named after Sir David Attenborough! Usually open by appointment only, this opportunity is not one to be missed.
