The Travelling Poetry Apothecary is a creative, interactive space where people can pause, connect and explore poetry and words as a source of comfort, reflection, conversation and connection. Visitors are invited to choose a “prescription” of poetry for whatever they might be feeling or experiencing.

The idea sits at the heart of New Script’s work to promote more human, creative, community-based and non-medicalised approaches to mental health and emotional wellbeing. They provide a warm, accessible and thought-provoking space where people can drop in, take part and perhaps leave with some words that mean something to them.
