Description:

Join us for an evening of traditional skills at the museum. Meet the makers, hear about their work and even try your hand at the different crafts: basket making with Lynn Greenmantle, fabric dyeing from natural plant dyes using wild Irish plants with Lucy Moore and medieval wood carving with David Gorey. A display of the artist's works will be on view in the Fethard Horse Country Experience from 15th - 29th September.
While you are with us, visit our state-of-the-art interactive museum. The Fethard Horse Country Experience is an interactive exhibition which examines the relationship between the people, the land and the horse revealing how they are all inextricably linked. Located within a 17th century Tholsel building, the interactive nature of the exhibition makes it an enjoyable and informative experience for all ages.
