This Culture Night, the Romanian Community of Ireland (RCI) invites visitors to discover the rich tradition of Romanian embroidery through a hands-on gathering celebrating craft, heritage and community.

The evening will include a beginners’ embroidery workshop, where participants can learn step by step and recreate a traditional embroidery pattern inspired by Queen Maria’s blouse. No previous experience is required.

A first of its kind in Ireland, this special Culture Night event offers an opportunity to learn about and take part in a cherished Romanian tradition, with the RCI team welcoming the Romanian-speaking community and anyone interested in discovering this beautiful craft.
