Cavan artist Marie Smith has been working with a group of 15 participants on a visual arts project for PEACE IV Townhall Cavan. Each of the participants has made a figure in clay representing life in Cavan in peace times. Some of the figures are reflective but all are hopeful and positive for the future. In other works the group looked at the idea of crossing borders and how animals have always moved freely. The group has worked collectively to create a series of fun modes of transport to celebrate the freedom of movement we have today.
