Revenue Museum
16:00 - 21:00
No Booking Required
All Ages

The Revenue Museum provides a unique window on the varied activities of Revenue, from tax collection to customs controls, over several centuries. Among the displays, you’ll even find a poitín stil and some counterfeit goods seized over the years at Irish ports and airports! All of these are housed in the atmospheric crypt of the Chapel Royal at Dublin Castle.

On Culture Night 2023, you’re welcome to look around the Museum at your own pace. Short tours around the Museum’s exhibits will be offered at regular intervals during the evening.

This year marks the centenary of Revenue being established in the early days of Ireland’s independence in February 1923.
