A celebration of the Three Bridges Walk at the heart of Limerick city.
Join us – the Limerick Pedestrian Network and Limerick Cycle Bus – for a cultural tour of the Three Bridges Walk. Celebrating the significance of the Walk for the people of Limerick City, we will stroll together along the route as the sun goes down and the river is lit up by lights. The walk will hear reflections from locals who love the route – historian John Logan, author Dan Mooney, and activist Anne Cronin, as well as a musical piece from Limerick’s celebrated singer-songwriter, Emma Langford. All welcome on foot, bike, scooter, wheelchair, buggy… see you there!
This event is part of the Walk21 world summit of walking and is supported by Limerick City & County Council Active Travel unit.
Start time: 7pm
Start location: Merchant’s Quay beside Council Offices
