Coming up behind established talent like Rejjie Snow, 22-year-old drummer/producer/ rapper Alex Gough is helping blaze a trail for Irish hip-hop internationally. Following radio support and prominent placings in high profile playlists, he’s racked up millions of streams for his 2019 debut EP, ‘80%’, and earned a high profile sync on the BBC adaptation of Sally Rooney’s ‘Normal People’.
Incredibly talented 19-year-old singer/songwriter Jess Reinl is proving a force to be reckoned with. Propelled into internet fame at just 17 following the globally viral video of her co-cover of ‘Shallow’ from blockbuster movie ‘A Star Is Born’, Jess was inundated with messages from around the world from both fans and industry alike. She’s since built a highly dedicated international following of her own, continuing to deliver regular covers to her vast online audience.
Waiting Space’ is an audio and visual project and alias of Waterford musician and artist, Chris Falconer. Through a D.I.Y. process that is enabled by contemporary technology, Chris creates self-recorded/self-produced musical pieces in a domestic setting that are characterised by dynamic vocals and cinematic instrumentals – typically blending programming, electronics, and live-instrumentation.
