Description:

This Thing is a group of community artists who have one thing in common, a love for our home of Drogheda. In collaboration with Upstate Theatre Project and Development Perspectives, we invite you to join us for an evening of theatre and discussion as we explore collaborative and positive ways to affect change on a community level.

After a year of workshops, our community is excited to share our work with the wider Drogheda network, and hope to spark conversation, so join us in The Little Duke Performance space at 7pm on Culture Night as we create the first ripple that will build in to a wave of change in Drogheda!

Audiences can expect traditional theatre performances, as well as a chance to interact and change the scene as they are guided through forum theatre techniques by our experienced team of facilitators and performers. These scenes will explore every day injustices, as well as macro factors that affect day to day life in Drogheda. We hope you come along, be inspired, and stay for the chats afterward!
