The People’s Shed

Artist Evelyn Broderick established ‘The People’s Shed’ in 2022 as a space for sharing skills and knowledge through communal workshop spaces. Evelyn's open dialogue approach with local people uses making to build connections and collaborations and exploring how a community’s social fabric can be discussed, honoured and fostered through collective hand skills, sharing, making, and thinking.

All together these push the boundaries of what A Radical Imagination can mean.
Evelyn is the recipient of Common Ground’s residency award, A Radical Imagination, 2022 – 2023 which runs from April to December in studio 468 in St Andrew’s Community Centre, Rialto.
