Following a series of interactive workshops, the students of St Nathy’s College and Local Artist Tuesday Whitfield present the Open Book Library!

On Culture Night 2026, students will be invited to ‘Borrow’ a community member. Well versed topic will follow an open conversation! In return, the ‘Human Books’ will ask the young people questions. It will be a fun, interactive event, managed and facilitated by Tuesday, students and Creative Places Ballaghaderreen.

The event will take place in Ballaghaderreen Library, where people can now be ‘books’ and can share their lived experiences in short sessions! Through this project, we hope to promote Inclusivity, equality, and cultural diversity to challenge stereotypes and build understanding of each other.
