The performers are very experienced and versatile musicians. Cliodhna has toured on fiddle with acts such as Hazel O’Connor, the River Babies and many more. Mark has long been part of the North west live music scene, playing with many diverse local artists including The Bughouse Band, Bill Stewart Quintet and most recently, his group The Kobe Trio. He is also a piano teacher. They first met playing in a 1930’s style trio, the Honeybees. Their shared love of nostalgia has also seen them perform live soundtracks for silent films including Nosferatu and the original Hunchback of Notre Dame. Colm Beggan is a very well known singer, five string banjo player and guitarist. He has played with a who’s who of the roots music scene in Ireland. He leads the very popular Bluegrass session in Cryans, Carrick on Shannon on Fridays and has done so for many years. Cliodhna and Mark also play there every week.
