This walk, led by Dan Tietzsch-Tyler (email@example.com), medieval historian and artist specialising in archaeological reconstruction drawings, will start at St John’s Gate and finish at King John’s Castle at the other end of the medieval walled town. There will be four stops to look at and discuss the three ‘castles’ that still stand in Limerick, and the site of a fourth. The walk will finish in time to permit last entry into the castle (not part of this walk).
