Description:

Explore The House Galleries, a self-guided retrospective exhibition spanning over two decades of mixed media work by established County Clare artist Grace Roberts, displayed throughout a domestic setting. More than 90 works are presented across a series of informal house galleries, including the Threshold Gallery, Upper Gallery, The Plum Room, Hearth Room Gallery and Passage Gallery. Visitors are invited to wander at their own pace through rooms where art and everyday life meet, encountering a substantial body of work exploring inheritance, memory, landscape, connection and transformation. The event offers a rare opportunity to experience an artist’s evolving practice outside a conventional gallery and to consider how the house itself becomes part of the work’s context.

The event is partly accessible. The ground-floor galleries can be mostly accessed without using stairs or steps and seating can be made available if required.
Some parts of the exhibition are located using steps and none of the bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.
