On Culture Night 2026, Teach Cheoil Corofin hosts an evening of traditional Irish music, song and community celebration. Three generations of the Flanagan family perform together as Ar Scáth a Chéile – in one another’s shelter. As the descendants of Sarah and Rita Keane of Caherlistrane, Co. Galway, whose recordings are preserved in the Irish Traditional Music Archive, the ensemble of flute, mandolin, harp, fiddle and voice, explore the passing of tradition and pay tribute to the musical legacy of Sarah and Rita Keane. This performance brings the Flanagan Family home to Corofin, featuring tunes and songs as Gaeilge and in English. Entry is free, no booking required.
