“The Crossroads” is a Culture Night event hosted by ‘Clogh Writers’ celebrating local heritage, memories, creativity and community spirit. Through a varied programme of performances, readings and presentations, audiences will be invited to take a journey “Down Memory Lane”.

The evening will feature poetry and short story readings by members of our writers’ group, music and dance performances, and a one-act drama by a local  group. A highlight of the programme will be the screening of highlights of ‘A New Landlord’ by Brian Stynes, a short film produced locally with the support of community members who contributed acting roles, props, premises, sets, hair and makeup.

Adding to the atmosphere, local participants in period costume will bring elements of our shared history to life. The event aims to celebrate culture, storytelling, collaboration and the rich heritage of our community.
