The Cottage in association with Swell Festival present Gas Hands (Derry) supported by local heroes Happy Out.
Gas Hands are a three piece Melodic Punk band from Northern Ireland. Following the end of their previous band, Lost Avenue, Dylan Bradley (Guitar / Vocals) and Michael Brown (Drums) didn’t want to stop making music together, but wanted to move in a new direction. Joined by Nolan Donnelley (Bass), they formed Gas Hands earlier this year. Their debut single, Move, is out now on Little Rocket Records.
Having cut their teeth playing bars, parks, festivals and anywhere in between, the post-indie rock trio Happy Out have chiselled themselves into a force to be reckoned with in the Donegal/Derry scene. Their sound is defined with blown out amplifiers, screaming vocals and decimated drum-kits. 2018 saw the band support Titus Andronicus and play at Swell Festival and Stendhal Festival.
Aul Éire presents a Culture Night event! We have assembled the finest artistic talents from around the local area, and tasked them with creating up to three pieces, each the size of a beer mat (95mmx95mm). All work will be displayed and auctioned (hence “Beermart”) in the Cottage Bar, Letterkenny, on Culture Night. All are welcome to come along and view a collection of unique, original artwork from some wonderful local artists, and even place a bid and nab yourself a little piece of culture!
