Margaret Galvin - A Celebration in Poetry of the People, Places and Events that Shape Us

One of the functions of poetry is to keep alive the memory of the people, places and events that shape us. Join Wexford poet, Margaret Galvin for a  reading to  celebrate those seminal formative influences. Those new to poetry are especially welcome and will find much to recognise  and empathise with in Margaret’s narrative style of poetry. Find out why Judy Noggin stole butter, discover what happened when the circus came to town.

Margaret will delight audiences with her poetry at The Blue Egg Gallery at 6pm and at The Creative Hub at 7pm.

The Blue Egg Gallery will be open for the duration of the performance and on view will be an exhibition of prints and metalwork by Grainne Cuffe & Jane Murtagh entitled The Mind and the Eye. The exhibition continues until Saturday 5th of October.
