Description:

The biker’s orchestra is a spectacular cross-collaborative event connecting motorcyclists & musicians in the creation of a piece of music.

We are calling out to motorcyclists who would like to take part and spectators who would like to attend.

‘The biker’s orchestra’ is a public event hosted by the Freebird’s M.C.C in collaboration with Lazarus Brother heavy metal band and artist Brigid Mulligan.

Motorcyclists will be invited to arrive at 7pm to participate in a test space using music combined with motorcycle engine revving to create an original sound.

From 7.20pm – 8.20pm motorcyclist will use the sound of their beloved machines to create sound and tone. Brigid Mulligan will act as conductor for this event and develop hand signals guide the participants. Stephen Mulligan will be on lead vocal, Donal Mulchay on lead guitar, Turlough Mulligan on Bass and Des Harrington on Drums.

At 9pm the group will perform. Everyone is welcome to attend this unique experimental music event.

Beifear ag moladh do rothair teacht ar 7i.n. chun páirt a ghlacadh i spás tástála ag úsáid ceoil chomh maith le tonnta inneall na rothair chun fuaim bhunaidh a chruthú. Ó 7.20 go 8.20i.n. úsáidfidh na rothair fuaim a meaisíní grá chun fuaim agus ton a chruthú. Beidh Brigid Mulligan mar stiúrthóir don eachtra seo agus forbróidh sí comharthaí láimhe chun tacú leis na rannpháirtithe. Beidh Stephen Mulligan mar príomha amhránaí, Donal Mulchay ar an ngiotár príomhúil, Turlough Mulligan ar Bhass agus Des Harrington ar na Drumaí.

Ag a 9i.n. beidh an grúpa ag seinm. Tá fáilte romhat go léir freastal ar an imeacht ceoil turgnamhach uathúil seo.
