Waterside Neighbourhood Partnership’s Excite programme presents an exhibition of works by young people from Oakgrove Integrated College, exploring climate justice and social justice and using poster art to open up a conversation with the public.
Organised by the Excite programme, young art students from Oakgrove Integrated College will address the issues of climate justice and social justice from the perspective of young people whose future is at stake. Ideas and thoughts will be translated in to a series of calls to action with the support of artists, activists and community workers in a series of events, talks and workshops taking place in the weeks before culture night.
The works created will be printed into a series of posters and displayed across the city, giving public space for young people to voice their concerns and a call to the public to enter the conversation.
