SULT is an exciting group of multidisciplinary Kildare-based artists who have come together in a collective manner to promote and market their work. Despite exhibitions and arts events being deferred or cancelled during the last 18 months, they have continued to create, design and produce new work.
The word SULT is Irish for enjoyment, pleasure, craic, satisfaction and fun, chosen as it encapsulates elements found in all their work. Sult Artists Gallery, a temporary pop-up gallery situated in the former Boland’s Pub on Market Square, Kildare, will be open late on Culture Night where visitors can meet some of the artists and view their work.
In addition to the gallery’s late opening, there will be a short demo and workshop on Culture Night: ceramics at 6pm, printmaking at 7pm. As participation in the demo and workshop is limited, call or email before 6pm on 16th September to reserve your place.
The exhibition will remain open to visitors during the demo and workshop.
