St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral: An Eve of Tours and Music

St Fin Barre's Cathedral welcomes visitors on Culture Night to experience the heritage and cultural activities of this magnificent building. Enjoy music from the renowned St Fin Barre's Cathedral Choir conducted by musical director Peter Stobart and accompanied by organist Matthew Breen.
The site of the Cathedral is acknowledged as the birthplace of Cork City and music has been performed here since at least 1328. From 7pm visitors can enjoy tours on the hour and further musical performances on the half hour with specially commissioned audio-visual presentations throughout.
