Soul Juice is Dublin’s live improvised music community, bringing together musicians, vocalists, rappers, poets, and music lovers for an evening of spontaneous creation. Inspired by London’s thriving jam scene, Soul Juice creates a space where collaboration comes before perfection and every performance is unique.

On Culture Night at Bewleys, the evening opens with a performance from Q and the Soul Juice house band before evolving through a series of 15-minute musician rotations. One by one, members of the house band step off, and new artists step in, creating entirely new combinations of musicians and fresh sounds throughout the evening. There are no set lists, no rehearsed arrangements, and no expectations, just creativity in the moment.

With a full backline provided, performers simply bring their instrument and join the rotation. Whether you’re taking part or watching from the audience, Soul Juice offers a one-of-a-kind experience celebrating improvisation, community, and the incredible talent across Dublin’s R&B, hip hop, jazz, soul, funk, Afro, Latin, trad, rap, and spoken word scenes.
