Snowy Mooncake Workshop – Bilingual in Cantonese and English

- Offline
Description:
Snowy mooncakes are a non-baked pastry originating from Hong Kong. They are a festive, sweet food Cantonese usually have at Mid-Autumn Festival.
In this workshop, visitors are invited to learn to make this delicious mooncake. Through chit-chats and hands-on experience, you will definitely enjoy this fun and educational workshop, and bring home three to share with friends and family. Taught by food lover Joanne Lee, the workshop will be in both Cantonese and English.
From tutor Lee:
'I started enjoying cooking only after my arrival in Ireland. Through trying to do different cuisines, I recall the great time in Hong Kong and hope to retain the HK taste here.'
Booking is required to participate in this event.
Thank you to Asia Market and Hong Kong Taste Bakery for sponsoring us different types of mooncakes to taste, and thank you to Newpark Academy of Music for opening their space for us to hold the workshop. This event is funded by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
