“Singing Letts… In a Wexford Village” is a unique Culture Night presentation by singer/composer Aileen Lambert with bouzouki player Niall Lacey and flute/whistle player Noreen Kehoe, bringing the poetry of the much-overlooked Winifred M. Letts to life through newly composed airs and traditional-style singing.

Focusing on poems from the chapter In A Wexford Village in Letts’ first collection of poetry, the performance explores the themes, stories, places and distinctive language that shaped Letts’ writing. Through music, storytelling and accompaniment, these evocative poems are revitalised for contemporary audiences, offering a fresh and engaging perspective on Wexford’s literary and cultural heritage.
