Singer Songwriter Joan Healy in McAuley Place

On Culture Night singer songwriter Joan Healy is set to take to the stage for another solo gig. She has opened for the likes of Mundy and Megan O'Neill. She is an indie-artist with a passion for soul music. Her original songs are bred from folk music, which she was immersed in as a child growing up in Kildare. Joan trained with Waltons School of Music as a vocalist and has performed with solo artists and local bands as a backup singer and a main vocalist. From her beginnings of busking on Grafton Street to recording and sharing her music worldwide, Joan delivers songs with velvety tones and a soulful voice.
The evening will feature covers and original music from the genres of folk and soul.
