Coming from a disciplined background in Graphic Design and Computer Aided design, I ventured into dry needle felting and found that this craft allowed me to become much more experimental and adventurous with my artwork.
Dry felting allowed me to take bold steps without the fear of going past the point of no return; every artists nightmare. Wool unlike paint can easily be unpeeled allowing total freedom to experiment with colour and textures. This makes this craft much easier for beginners to experiment and find their own style.
If you would like to join me for an introductory taster and try your hand at producing your own felting masterpiece why not join me on Sept 17th as part of the Culture Night 2021 experience.
I am offering free 40 minute workshops throughout the afternoon and evening.
These slots will need to be booked in advance.
