Self-Guided Tours of Christ Church

Christ Church’s new audio guide uses storytelling to bring the cathedral’s nearly 1,000-year history to life in a new and exciting way. It is offered in five languages; English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Irish Sign Language and Audio Descriptive tours are also available with transcriptions in English. Please download the audio guide onto your own device and bring your earphones/headphones. Visitors are able to choose from three different themes as they explore: ‘Power and Politics’, ‘Christ Church & the City’ and ‘Music & Spirituality’.

There is a limit of 200 spaces available for each self-guided tour which must be booked in advance.
The audio guide must be downloaded onto your own device as devices will not be provided by the venue.

The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and slots are at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm and 7pm.
Latecomers will not be admitted.
