The Central Catholic Library was founded as a subscription library by Irish Jesuit Fr. Stephen Brown in 1922. The Georgian house now holds a collection of over 60,000 books, covering the Catholic tradition in literature, philosophy, theology, history, science, the visual arts and music. This year the Central Catholic Library celebrates the centenary of its foundation. Visit on Culture Night for a seisiún ceoil and tours throughout the evening.
