Different Voices

“Music is the poetry of the air” Jean Paul Richter.

‘Different Voices’, a cultural get-together, will bring together a diverse group of people to share in an evening of superb music in the Library curated by the Tudor Artisan Hub.

Performers will include the renowned Carrick on Suir Musical Society, who recently celebrated their 75th Anniversary, with a repertoire of well-known and much-loved musical numbers, intertwined with a modern and classical twist. Accomplished singer, songwriter and musician Aidan O’ Callaghan will deliver an original acoustic driven music set, with folk leanings topped with a contemporary lyrical style. Young brothers Mate and Temo Nizharadzea from Georgia, just 10 and 12 years old, will play music from their native Country. And musical duo Carrie Mc Collum and JJ Riordan will entertain us with a popular music set, this gifted pair sing and accompany themselves with guitar, percussion and a live loop station. Come along and enjoy!
