Description:

Experience a curated exhibition of contemporary digital art presented across the Market House campus. Throughout the evening, digital screens and large-scale projections will transform the site into a dynamic exhibition space, showcasing selected works from an open call featuring artists from across Ireland and beyond.

As part of its 200th anniversary celebrations, Market House Dunleer is delighted to present its first Culture Night event. THRESHOLD opens Culture Night with an exhibition bringing together 15 artists to explore the spaces, ideas and possibilities that exist between us. We are excited to share this special evening of art, culture and conversation with the public.

Curated by Adrian+Shane, alongside Els Bogart and Declan Kelly, the exhibition features a diverse range of moving image, digital and screen-based artworks.

Visitors are invited to explore the Market House campus, discover the artworks at their own pace, and experience contemporary art in an accessible and engaging public setting as part of Culture Night.

Taithí a fháil ar thaispeántas coimeádaithe d’ealaín dhigiteach chomhaimseartha a chuirtear i láthair ar fud champas Theach an Mhargaidh. I rith an tráthnóna, athróidh scáileáin dhigiteacha agus teilgean ar scála mór an suíomh ina spás taispeántais dinimiciúil, ag taispeáint saothair roghnaithe ó ghlao oscailte ina mbeidh ealaíontóirí ó gach cearn d’Éirinn agus níos faide i gcéin.

Mar chuid dá cheiliúradh 200 bliain, tá ríméad ar Theach an Mhargaidh Dunleer a chéad imeacht Oíche Chultúir a chur i láthair. Osclaíonn THRESHOLD Oíche Chultúir le taispeántas a thugann 15 ealaíontóir le chéile chun na spásanna, na smaointe agus na féidearthachtaí atá ann eadrainn a iniúchadh. Tá áthas orainn an tráthnóna speisialta seo d’ealaín, cultúr agus comhrá a roinnt leis an bpobal.

Arna choimeád ag Adrian+Shane, in éineacht le Els Bogart agus Declan Kelly, tá raon éagsúil saothar ealaíne íomhá ghluaiste, digiteacha agus scáileánbhunaithe sa taispeántas.

Tugtar cuireadh do chuairteoirí iniúchadh a dhéanamh ar champas Theach an Mhargaidh, na saothair ealaíne a fháil amach ar a luas féin, agus taithí a fháil ar ealaín chomhaimseartha i suíomh poiblí inrochtana agus tarraingteach mar chuid d’Oíche Chultúir.
