Scannán - The Dying Days
THE DYING DAYS film about General Liam Lynch in the closing weeks of the Irish Civil War between February and April 1923. The film gives some background and context and then focuses on the final journey taken by Liam Lynch. He leaves Dublin and goes to West Cork and then goes to the IRA Executive Meeting in to Co Waterford. He then travels to the hideout called Katmandu in County Tipperary from where he returns via the Nire Valley to the Knockmealdowns where he is shot on the 10th of April 1923. The film will be accompanied with Art works by Dolores Lyne.
