Join musician Dafe Orugbo for an exciting, interactive music-making experience as part of Culture Night at The Ark. Created especially for children and their families, this lively 30-minute workshop invites participants to explore sound, rhythm and creativity in a fun, playful environment where everyone can take part.

What happens when your body becomes an instrument? In this taster session, children will discover that music can be made in all kinds of surprising ways.

Guided by Dafe, they’ll experiment with their voices, body percussion, movement and everyday sounds, combining them with simple digital technology to create original live music together.

Through games, improvisation and collaborative music-making, participants will explore how rhythm, melody and texture come together. They’ll clap, tap, stomp, click, hum and sing.

This event takes place at 16:00, 17:00 and 18:00 on Culture Night.
