RTÉ Culture Night: Live at Dún Lúiche.

RTÉ One television will celebrate Culture Night from Donegal this year.

Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh will present an hour-long live music and arts programme from Ionad Cois Locha, Dún Lúiche in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht. In the lakeside setting in the shadow of Mount Errigal, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra will be joined by a host of guest performers from the worlds of post-punk, R&B and indie rock for a feast of music.

Over the waves on beautiful Oileán Árainn Mhór, leaders of the Irish folk revival Ye Vagabonds will perform with LUXE Landscape Theatre on the island’s spectacular new shorefront amphitheatre. The show will also feature a range of events happening around the country for Culture Night, from the worlds of spoken word, poetry, dance, and street theatre.
