Blending monologue and movement, this one-person-show created and performed by Donegal dancer and choreographer Rosie Mullin, explores the farcical and demanding rituals of domestic life in rural Ireland. Drawing on personal experiences of growing up in a tight-knit family in Donegal, the piece examines the unsung burden carried by generations of matriarchal women who keep households running. The choreography addresses the anger and shame that pulls at our bodies. A raw story that resonates universally.
