Ros Tapestry- A tale told in thread

The Ros Tapestries depict events around the Anglo Norman arrival in the South East of Ireland, especially the founding of the town of New Ross by the famous Norman knight, William Marshal and his wife Isabel de Clare, daughter of Strongbow, Richard deClare, Earl of Pembroke and Aoife the Irish Princess, daughter of Diarmuid McMurrough, King of Leinster.

The Public are invited to come to the tapestry for a free tour of the 15 panels telling the Norman History of the area.
