This Culture Night, the Embassy of Romania invites visitors to discover Romanian culture through an evening of music, heritage, language, and interactive activities.

The programme includes a video presentation celebrating Romanian musicians living in Ireland, an introduction to the Romanian ie—the traditional embroidered blouse inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2022—and a series of fun quizzes exploring Romanian traditions, notable figures, and fascinating facts.

Visitors can also learn five Romanian words in five minutes and test their knowledge by identifying some of Romania’s most iconic landmarks from a selection of photographs. Everyone is welcome to enjoy this lively celebration of Romanian culture and heritage.

This event is part of the European Culture Trail – a EUNIC Ireland (European Union National Institutes for Culture) in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Ireland.
