MXXM is a new version of the live audio-visual performance Music for 18 Machines, a reimagining of Steve Reich’s Music for 18 Musicians. Part programmed, part live response, with a new approach to visualizing the patterns, rhythms and phrases of Music for 18 Musicians, this
performance channels the spirit of the original work.

Performance concept by Simon Cullen. Visual design created and produced by Kevin Freeny.
