Printmaking at Interface
Visit Interface on Culture Night 2023 to make a print with local artist and printmaker Clare Henderson.
Everything will be supplied for you, so just come along and we'll do the rest.
This drop in printmaking evening is a chance to participate in a professional workshop for free and to experience what we're planning for the future at Interface. All welcome.
All materials are non-toxic and can be washed with soap and water.
Interface is a studio and residency programme for visual artists, dancers, writers and musicians, situated in the Inagh Valley, in the heart of Connemara.
Interface provides catalysing opportunities for artists in residence to engage with others through a unique platform within outstanding natural beauty that explores the intersections between scientific research and art.
Clare Henderson studied Fine Art Print in the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. She began printing in Graphic Studio Dublin, having received the Graphic Studio Dublin Graduate Award (2005). There, with the help of studio staff and members, she has furthered her printing practice to create a body of work based around ideas relating to the human condition. She creates muted coloured and black and white etchings, drypoints, lithographs and pencil drawings. Mainly based on the figure, they evoke existential elements which she believes are inherent in us all.
