This Culture Night, the Embassy of Portugal to Ireland invites visitors to explore an exhibition celebrating the remarkable legacy of Portuguese writer-diplomats, followed by an informal gathering.

The exhibition features a carefully curated selection of diplomats who also distinguished themselves as accomplished authors, including Eça de Queiroz, Guerra Junqueiro, and Wenceslau de Morais, alongside contemporary writer-diplomats such as Paulo Castilho and Castro Mendes. Through literature and diplomacy, the exhibition offers a fascinating insight into the cultural contributions of these influential figures.

This event is part of the European Culture Trail – a EUNIC Ireland (European Union National Institutes for Culture) in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Ireland.
