Poetry Ireland presents Poetry SOS Clinic for Culture Night Roscommon

Pop in to meet poet Gerry Boland who will, after a chat with the participant, select and prescribe a Vital Signs poem for each person, designed to make you feel better, which you can bring home and read at your leisure.

In October 2022, Poetry Ireland published an exciting and innovative anthology of poems about illness and healing called Vital Signs. The book, encompassing classic and contemporary poetry by the best of Irish, UK and American poets, has a broad appeal, and prompts broad discussions on issues of enduring and popular concern.
